Boomerang Bag Sewing & Cutting Events for 2018
Te Puke High School Sewing Room
No experience needed – Turn up and help.
5:30PM – 7:30PM
The Boomerang Bag initiative is to support a plastic bag free Te Puke.
We aim to create bags by up-cycling donated materials and distribute them free in Te Puke through our local businesses.
Even if you can’t sew – you’re welcome to come help cut. Bring a plate or food if you would like to share.
We will host these working bee’s once a month on the last Thursday of every month, and more often if people show a strong interest.
You’re also welcome to learn what to do, then sew or cut from home.
